The SteriTouch® range of additives includes several which are suitable for use in water, resin, oil and solvent based paints and coatings.
In many instances, a liquid SteriTouch® additive can simply be mixed with the coating prior to application. However, it is generally advisable to evaluate the composition of the coating prior to identifying a suitable additive, since there are a number of components which can have a detrimental effect on any silver based antimicrobial. We are happy to handle all stages of this validation process, including initial antimicrobial testing, at no cost to the client.
